Turn Services owns and operates the following 9 towboats: m/v Sir Barton (1230 hp), m/v Jean Lafitte (1410 hp) m/v Gallant Fox (1440 hp), m/v War Admiral (1170 hp), m/v Omaha (1350 hp), m/v Whirlaway (1440 hp), m/v Jolly Roger (1410 hp), m/v Blackbeard (1410 hp) and m/v Secretariat (2800 hp). The m/v Sir Barton (named after the horse that won the Triple Crown in1919) is the lead boat in the Myrtle Grove Fleet with the m/v Jean Lafitte assisting. The m/v Gallant Fox (named for the 1930 Triple Crown winner) services the LaGen Power Plant at New Roads. The m/v War Admiral (named for the 1937 Triple Crown winner) is the lead fleet boat at Meraux with the m/v Omaha (named for the 1935 Triple Crown winner) assisting and servicing the New Orleans Harbor. The m/v Whirlaway (named for the 1941 Triple Crown winner), the m/v Jolly Roger, the m/v Blackbeard and the m/v Secretariat (named for the 1973 Triple Crown winner) are involved in shuttle service between the Myrtle Grove area and the fleets above New Orleans.
