Turn has grown in scope and service during the past 17 years, but remains a small company in relation to some firms in the industry. Each year, each day, Turn strives to enhance its level of service and its commitment to customers. Some pundits say that success in any business means never standing still. That’s an adage that Turn Services takes to heart, and it bring us to one question: Why the bird?
Well it’s not just any bird, it’s an Arctic Tern. The Arctic Tern lives in the Arctic from mid-April through mid-September, then flies to the Antarctic and lives there from mid-November through mid-March. This small bird, with a huge wingspan, migrates 25,000 miles each year, mostly over the oceans. Turn Services chose the Arctic Tern as its iconographic image for several reasons. Chief among them: it is highly focused, very efficient, hard-working and goes great distances. All these qualities are admirable in a bird, in a person and in a company. Let us know if you agree, and please call on us if you would like to learn more about how we can personally help you in your handling of inland waterborne commerce.
