Turn Services cordially invites you to participate in the 5th Annual Glenn Otero Memorial Golf Tournament. Glenn was a Port Captain at Turn Services who inspired everyone who knew him. Unfortunately, Glenn lost a long fought battle with cancer in 2011. The first golf tournament was held to benefit Glenn in his fight against cancer. We could not think of a better way to honor Glenn’s memory than by continuing the fundraiser named in his honor.
This year, the proceeds from the Glenn Otero Memorial Golf Tournament will benefit The LaNasa-Greco Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Hospital. The center offers comprehensive and current therapies for the treatment of all types of malignancies and blood disorders including, but not limited to, leukemia, thalassemia, sickle cell anemia and hemophilia, among many others. Though patient care is the primary focus, the Hospital is an active participant in clinical and basic research of childhood cancers and blood disorders. The Center treats more than 1,100 children each year. Children’s Hospital treats more Louisiana kids with cancer than all other facilities combined.
