Convent, LA – September 14, 2026 – Turn Services, a leading provider of barge fleeting, shifting and towing services along the Lower Mississippi River and Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, announces the completion of its acquisition of St. John Fleeting, LLC and its affiliate companies.

For 50 years, St. John Fleeting has been a respected presence on the Lower Mississippi River. The acquisition brings that legacy together with Turn Services’ existing operations and expands the company’s ability to serve customers throughout the region.

The acquired St. John Fleeting assets include a strategically located fleet at approximately Mile Marker 140 on the Mississippi River with capacity to accommodate up to 300 barges, including dry, liquid, pressure, CDC, deck and oversized barges. The addition complements Turn Services’ existing network of fleeting and vessel operations and provides additional capacity and flexibility for customers moving cargo throughout the Lower Mississippi River corridor.

“This acquisition represents another important investment in the long-term growth of Turn Services and in the customers and industries we serve,” said Gary Poirrier, Chairman of Turn Services. “St. John Fleeting has built an outstanding operation and a trusted reputation over five decades on the Mississippi River. We are proud to carry that legacy forward while bringing these assets and experienced team members into Turn Services and strengthening our ability to serve our customers.”

“Adding this fleet into Turn Services’ operations strengthens our ability to serve customers at a critical location on the Lower Mississippi River,” said Todd Fuller, President of Turn Services. “The acquisition expands our fleeting operations in the Reserve area and allows us to augment our cargo handling capacity within the Port of South Louisiana jurisdiction. We look forward to building on the strong foundation established by St. John Fleeting while continuing to deliver the level of safety, reliability and service our customers expect.”

The acquisition is part of Turn Services’ continued strategy of investing in its people, assets and operating locations while providing customers with an integrated network of marine services throughout the region.
