We are pleased to announce the following key organizational moves we are making as we continue to strengthen our operations platform at Turn Services.  We value all of our team members and are pleased to watch our employees meet the challenges presented and grow into greater responsibilities.  The experience, expertise and knowledge of these team members will be invaluable resources as we continue to grow our company.

Shawn Dauzat and Jason Pitre have joined our team as Port Captains.  Shawn and Jason will be responsible for the management of the company’s vessels as directed by Vice President of Operations Brad Chauvin.   In their roles, they will serve as the primary liaison to the company’s Pushboat Captains. Prior to joining the Turn Services’ team, Shawn was a Port Captain at AEP.  Jason has been a Captain on the M/V Jean Lafitte since 2007. 

Carmen Leduff has been promoted to Personnel Manager.   Carmen will be the primary liaison to the company’s deckhands.  She will be responsible for the day to day oversight of deckhand operations including conducting deckhand reviews and setting deckhand schedules.  Carmen will also screen, interview and conduct orientation for new hires.  In addition, she will represent Turn Services at recruiting events.  She will be on call every other week handling issues that may arise on the vessels at any time. 

Virginia Overall has been promoted to Personnel Coordinator from Human Resources Assistant.  Virginia will assist in coordinating deckhand scheduling and recruitment. In addition, she will be responsible for handling payroll for deckhands.  She will be on call every other week handling issues that may arise on the vessels at any time.  In addition, she will continue to assist the Human Resources Department in the preparation and maintenance of employment records.

Stacey Migliore has been promoted to Purchasing Manager. Stacey joined Turn Services as Purchasing Coordinator.  She will assume the role of Manager, a position that was previously held by Jim Harrington who has recently retired.  She will manage all purchasing activities.

Mike Breslin has been promoted to Safety and Compliance Manager.  Mike previously worked in the Claims and Risk Department.  He will be responsible for facility and vessel safety in accordance with OSHA and USCG regulations.  He will manage and conduct audits and inspections at Turn’s inland waterway facilities and aboard our Pushboats and crewboats.  In addition, he will assist in all aspects of Turn Services Environmental Compliance program.  He will become a certified vessel inspector under the new Coast Guard Subchapter M guidelines for towing and assist in the integration of the guidelines into the Turn Services Inspection Protocol.

Reece Wilson has been promoted to Claims and Risk Analyst.  Reece joined Turn Services as Business Analyst.  He will handle all incident claims and assist proactive measures to mitigate risk.  He will report to Risk Manager Placito Miceli.  Reece will be on call every other week handling issues related to incident claims.
